Dr. Suzanne Collins enjoys working with a variety of clients including children, teens, and young adults. She most frequently treats anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and adjustment issues related to significant life changes. She uses an integrative approach to therapy, working to fit techniques to the individual and their presenting issues. Dr. Collins also completes psychological assessments for children and adults for ADHD, learning issues, and other psychological concerns.

Dr. Collins is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Kentucky. She has also been granted the designation of APIT (Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology) in states that have enacted PSYPACT legislation. ​Dr. Collins earned her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology as well as her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Xavier University. During her doctoral studies, her concentration was in child and adolescent psychology and she also obtained a certificate in Organizational Concepts and Management. Dr. Collins has experience working with children within a psychiatric hospital, adults in the Veteran’s Administration (VA) Medical Center, and children, adolescents and adults in community mental health centers.

Dr. Collins has been in private practice since 2006, working with children and adolescents, and co-founded L+C Psychological Services in 2017. She continues to work with clients, while also overseeing operations of the practice.
